Vega Sport protein is a veggie protein blend that provides 26g of protein, 5000 mg of BCAAs, and only 2.8g of sugar. At just 131 calories that is about as much protein as a 4oz chicken breast. Pretty Good!
1st I tried my protein straight, just water and veggie protein blend. It had a very earthy taste. Do not expect the same creamy texture you get from a whey based protein. But, adding a nut butter, banana, greek yogurt, or non dairy "milk" can add that smooth finish to your shakes and smoothies.
Then I tried it caffeinated as an end of day perk me up.
